Who am I and what do I take with me? After nearly 30 years of working in financial services, I have decided to take a new step and play a role as an interim manager, as a consultant or as your business advisor. My strength is my belief in diversity. The diversity between people on the one hand and business models and fields on the other. The continuous changes and increasing complexity ensure faster actions, a more flexible approach and short (er) lines. My name is Marco Pos, 49 years old, happily married, father of 2 sons and living in Harderwijk. As an experienced manager / director I am also available as a specialist in the field of Social Security (title RCCM and CROV). The fact that I wanted to do something else became clear to me in 2019. In February 2019 I successfully completed my study, Executive MBA. It is and was great to be involved with all business fields and to make the necessary improvements thanks to extensive business analysis. As Social Security Manager, I was ultimately responsible for several business units and different teams. It went very well and every year there were improvements in sales, satisfaction and revenues. You would say beautiful starting point. But having worked in this department for 13 years and fully experiencing this growth (from 3 to nearly 40 colleagues), it became clear to me that I am much more a builder than a manager. So it felt like I was no longer busy with the first 80%, but with the last 20%. I was troubled by these thoughts but also enormously stimulated ... The next 20 years I want to be surprised by my new / interim assignments and analyze the earlier question / problem / issue and then issue an opinion. I'm clearly looking for the icing on the cake. I look forward to a valuable contribution. My goal is to add precisely that value, so that my analysis / report can serve as the basis for a new and more successful phase in your company. As a self-employed person and interim manager, I can optimally use my experiences. I have also built up a large network and I am familiar with various systems and parties around different forms of service. I know how to successfully set up a department, how to grow and how to hold on to it. I am intuitive and always try to investigate and analyze that feeling. From the well-known DISC analysis I am a real reformer (IDS).
